Guess sears is about to go TU and they have sold branding rights to craftsman tools, and I guess theri die hard brand of batteries. Its going to be interesting to see if WARRANTIES are going to be honored by the new owners! I have craftsman tools going back to my dad never had issues but then again sears was the guarantor of the lifetime warranty.
I just got batteries for my diesel truck and the rv talk about $$ that need to be covered around $300 a set and I needed 2 per veh!
Oh well, guess everything changes with time. Just need to see what is next.

First I'd heard about that so I looked it up. Seems they sold Craftsman to Stanley Black & Decker and are going to close 150 stores. But I wouldn't say they are going TU. It least that isn't their published intension.Hank85713 wrote: Guess sears is about to go TU and they have sold branding rights to craftsman tools, and I guess theri die hard brand of batteries.
