I was just wondering if there was anyone else here that geocaches while on the road? I have been doing it for a few years and I find that at home or on the road geocaching can take you to some of the nicest and most out of the way places you would have never known about.

is a game where you try to get to a given location using a hand held GPS unit. Once there you have to find a container with a log book in it and sign the book. There are other aspects to the game, but them's the basics. Like I said, a great way to see places you might never have seen.
For those that want to play a similar game that doesn't use a GPS, there is Letterboxing

for letterboxing you use a compass (sometimes) and instead of signing in you have a rubber stamp that you stamp a book with. The letterbox has a stamp in it that you can stamp your own book with.
Both games can be a lot of fun and will take you to some really nice places. Also they can provide a little low budget entertainment on the road.
