Army & Air Force Exchange Service gas stations in CONUS, Alaska and Puerto Rico were recently programmed to reflect a discount of $.03 cents a gallon for drivers who pay with a Military StarSM Card. Officials hope to extend the Military StarSM Card $.03 cents a gallon discount at all AAFES facilities, but do not have a time table for worldwide implementation at this time.

That's great. I would also recommend the BP Visa card. I receive 5% back on every gas or diesel purchase at BP stations. I also receive 2% for other in store purchases and 1% for everything else I purchase anywhere. At current diesel prices, I receive more than 20 cents per gallon back on my fill up. It is truly the best credit card I've ever had. With the money back that I've received, I was able to take my last camping trip free of cost for fuel. We went to Cedarville, Michigan. What a beautiful place.
As has been mentioned here before, I would recommend the Pentagon Federal Credit Union VISA card. They give you a 5% rebate on gas at every gas station, as well as 2% off groceries and 1.25% off everything else.
We use ours for all our purchases and pay off every month. We get $40-50 rebate every month off our bill. There is no annual fee, however the APR is 13.44%, so if you carry a balance on your credit card, there may be a better way to go.
