Can someone tell me about Patrick AFB? We are heading that way from Zephyrhills, FL this coming weekend (5/15 or 5/16). Where do you enter from A1A? Amenities? Cost?

From another retired army, we love Patrick AFB and hoped to go last weekend to be there for the shuttle launches. Called prior to going to check on availability and before we got an answer they asked if we had pets, said we had an old, indoor cat and they said if we do not have a current proof of vaccination for rabies even on an old indoor cat we could not come in. We do not get them anymore so could not go, never pushed this before so just be aware if this applies to you.

It's been awhile since I was on this site. Thanks for the info. It's pretty concise. As to having pets, that info was important as we have a small dog. We will bring the rabies vaccination paperwork with us. In fact we will carry it with us in our RV.
