I have an immediate opening for a couple to be camp hosts managing a few small USFS campgrounds on the beautiful lake at Jackson Meadows Recreation Area in the Tahoe National Forest (Northern California - 90 miles across the border from Reno, NV).
I also have another opening for one person as a camp host managing another USFS campground near the Yuba River (North) in the Tahoe National Forest. (Northern California - 90 miles across the border from Reno, NV).
Positions run from now until early October.
Need:
- Camp Host - works 40 paid hrs/week; free host site with water and sewer.
- Relief Camp Host/Store Clerk - works 24 paid hrs/week staying at same free host site as above. Works as relief camp host 2 days a week, and runs small camp store 1 day a week.
- Camp Host - works 40 paid hours/week; free host site with water and sewer.
A mileage stipend is paid, as well as a small electric stipend (for your generator fuel). "Fulltime Seasonal" employment is with California Land Management, a private company operating as a concessionaire for the US Forest Service. (Working the summer also entitles you to unemployment in the winter).
