Medications from Walgreens

Walgreens is dropping out of the system to provide medications to the Tricare system. As of Dec 30th. Thought some of you might like to know.

I have been a Walgreen TriCare Script user for years and when Walgreens sent me notice they said TriCare was not willing to work with them anymore, no further explanation. When I received a notice from TriCare I called them and reason was Walgreens raised their prices considerably and they could not negotiate a new contract between them. I transferred my scripts to Walmart as they are available everywhere we travel so hope I have made a wise choice.

we use sxpress scripts, except for emergent meds. then its wally world or brookshires and medicine chest
my copay went to zero dollars on all but two of my meds through express scripts

If you switched from Walgreens to Walmart, how have you found Walmart Pharmacies? Were they just as good? Just wondering.

Our scripts are at Walmart...no issues...and they call you when they are ready to pick up....like that...

Check prices, Not tooting Express Scripts horn, but in long run they're cheaper than buying medications off the market. I just finished getting all mine switched to their mail order.
