traveling to Rhode Island from Texas for 50th High School reunion via Washington DC. Have reservation to stay at Andrews AFB RV Camp.
Anyone know what is best route from Andrews AFB to Hanscom AFB, Massachusetts to avoid New York city area?
Travelling in Monoco Diplomat and towing car on dolly.
Thanks

It's a long way around But I'd go 270-70-81-84-90. But, I'd do just about anything to stay away from the GW.Bridge and New York city.

I used to live in the N VA area and travel most of the interstates. You can go from Andrews around the east DC beltway, to Baltimore to Philly then connect to I-81 and 84. You'll have traffic 24/7, but under no circumstances should that be done in morning or evening rush hour traffic.
Unless there's some reason for camping at Andrews, I'd stay on the southside and then do the western beltway connecting to 270 and follow the rest of Ken's suggestion.
