American Flag Question?

American Flag Question? was created by karylkoch
We stay at a RV park in FT Myers for a few months in the winter. The park we stay at also accommodate Canadians. The owner just put up 2 flag poles. One. has the American flag, and the one next to it is a Canadian Flag. My husband wasn't sure but he thought the American flag had to be higher than the other flag. Does anyone know if there is a protocol for displaying flags in our country, next to another countries flag?

With Other National FlagsWhen flags of two or more nations are displayed, they are to be flown from separate staffs of the same height. The flags should be of approximately equal size. International usage forbids the display of the flag of one nation above that of another nation in time of peace.

Thank you! The owner of the RV park must of did his homework, that is exactly how they are displeacyed. There is a solar light at the top, of the flags that do have light on them at night.
