we do it on retired E8 pay and va check
at times it gets tight, but overall we pretty much do well.
we plan long trips and stay at those places long enough to not waste the fuel so to speak
we do have a "house" its paid for and the land as well
its a rv port and has a space for us to winter over or stay to do upkeep things
lately we have been here more than not and doing short trips
we are in the rv 365 but have the port as a spare bedroom and laundry facility plus storage for the tools and garden stuff
we like to grow things so the spring is a time we are here more than on the road

RVDreamer,

I am inquiring the same, so your questions has generated responses helping me also.

Larry,

Looking at your expenses from 2005-2008 you have a BIG YEAR :woohoo: then slowed it down the years following.

2005 was our first year on the road. We traveled across country. After that, we learned to "slow down" and spread out the journey. We also got smarter on how, and where, to spend our hard earned bucks.
