While I was staying at Edwards AFB FamCamp, CA, I learned they also have a primitive campground available. Branch Memorial Park is a primitive campground for tents and RV's, located around a small fishing pond. It's actually a pretty area - an oasis in the desert.
While they advertise "20 sites", the sites are no longer identified. Camping can be anywhere around the pond. I still need to get a little more information about this camping area. In the meantime, I do have lots of other information on Branch Park listed on the website.
