Previous website reviews

Reviews from the old website were moved to this new website using a user called "Oldweb". Reviews that didn't previously include any ratings were not moved.

If I moved one of your previous reviews, feel free to write the review again here and provide ratings accordingly. I'll remove the review that I moved over for you. This way, you get credit for your own review and can edit it.

I just wanted to make another attempt to have users read this. It was questioned today why there are so many reviews from user "Oldweb". They feared this user was "cramming" the ratings.

User "Oldweb" is a fake user account I used to ove the reviews and ratings over from the old website to this new website. The old website didn't have user logons. There was no easy way to move the reviews over, as some user had to post it here. Let me assure you, all of the reviews "Oldweb" has written are valid reviews that another user has written and rated from the old website. There is no cramming or attempts to bump-up the ratings. These are all valid reviews and ratings left by another user.

I didn't want to abandon these reviews, so this was the only method to have these reviews posted from the old website.

Just an update on this topic. I've changerd the username of "Oldweb" to "Proxy" to better explain who this fake user is. Besides being used to move the reviews from the old website (in January 2007), user "Proxy" is now used to leave reviews when they're received from the U.S. Military Campgrounds Directory software. Reviews coming from the software have no other method to get them posted and attributed to the person submitting them.
