I have 2 remotes to lock and unlock the door to my RV. One worked but the other didn't, but noticed the light was a dim on the remote. So I replaced the batteries on both remotes and now neither remote works...
I googled to reprogram the remotes but some of the steps people had seemed way out to lunch; key in/out the ingnition 5 times, etc. etc. I tried didn't work.
Anybody have any real steps or was that it ?

So after days of research and trying all the many guides, I finally got it.
First attempts were from post that kept leading me to regular truck and car FOB re-programming. These attempts had me cycling the key on and off 5-8 times, doing a serious of things. Didn't work. Tried because I had no other guidance.
Second attempts was a little closer. I didn't realize that RVs have Keyless Control Modules (KCM), which are hidden under the dash. I found a few step-by-step procedures (slight differences) and my Keyless Control Module. These attempts had me cycle the key "on", press the black button on the KCM 3 or 4 times, press the "lock" button, then turn the key "off". Didn't work. Because there were specific steps missing.
Third and Final attempt (hold key in one hand and KCM in the other hand):
STEP #1 - insert key, turn key "on" (but don't crank).
STEP #2 - within 2 seconds press black KCM button 3 times (rapidly), red light stay on.
STEP #3 - press and hold "lock" button on FOB #1 until KCM red light flashes once.
STEP #4 - press and hold "lock" button on FOB #2 until KCM red light flashes once.
STEP #5 - turn key "off".
Viola it worked !!!! winning :woohoo: :woohoo:

Glad you figured it all out, and thank you for sharing the information. Maybe you'll save us the trouble of replicating your research efforts!
