Light switch problem was created by Idylltimes
:-[
I just bought a 1997 37' Dutch Star in Texas and brought it back to Alabama. The salesman did a good job in explaining everything BUT....
Senior loss of memory moment has struck and I need help.
On the outside of the coach there are 4 lights located at the top of the coach. I believe that the normal use would be as an area light at night.
My problem is that those 4 lights are on...and I can't locate the switch that turns them off. Right now I have the batteries disconnected but sooner or later I am going to have to get the lights off.
Does anyone know a possible whereabouts for the controlling switch? I do know that it is not one of the 3 switches that are located immediately inside the door. Those were the first that I checked.
Thanks a lot for any assistance.

If you are talking about the large lights on each side of the coach, I think they are called Security Lights.
On my '05 Dutch Star the switch for the driver's side Security Lights is on the overhead panel in the front of the coach where most of my other switches are (power monitor, hot water heater, steps, etc.) The switch for the passenger's side Security Lights is in the kitchen on the underneath (bottom) of the kitchen cabinets.

I appreciate the help. Unfortunately I can't find a switch in either location that works the security lights.
Guess I'll have to keep trying.
Thanks....

This is a shot in the dark on my part, but did you try looking in the basement by where the hook ups are? also if you have outside leveling controls look by them as well.
