Got our discount cards in the mail yesterday. Applied for them on the internet and it took about three weeks for them to get to us. There was a list of stores provided with the paperwork based on the zip code I had given them. The closest one to us was a Target store and when I called to inquire about availability a nice young man told me they had 17 on hand so we went right over and got two of them for $18.95 each plus tax. Took them right back to the 5er and hooked them up as per the instructions provided. Excellent reception with both using the amplified “Bat” antenna. Got 2 signals from all the major networks because they are already broadcasting both digital and analog. In some cases we got a third signal because a network was also broadcasting their weather on another frequency.

We have tested ours in the drive way.. The PBS stations in Washington (DC) and Annapolis have four or five sub-channels

There is no "snowy fringe" reception.. either good picture or no picture..

We were in the local Target store today to replenish our Tassimo coffee supply and see about getting a longer USB extension cord. While in the electronics department I decided to check on the availability of the digital converter boxes as I've seen numerous postings about them being hard to find. Well there were 8 of the $49.99 models and 7 of the $59.99 models. So if you're having a hard time finding them and have a Target store near by give them a call.
