Hello...anybody out there towing a 4x4 Ford Sport Trac. I have a question on the neutral tow switch dealer installed. They've done the PCM reprogramming sequence as required.
Before, I start towing this baby I want to make sure that the transfer case is in neutral so I don't burn up anything.

If you get the green light on your little box it's in neutral, I have the same thing on my 04 Explore, and am getting it installed on my 08 Sport Trac. I have never had a problem

The green light comes on after initial procedure as required by the manual, but the green light turns off after about 10-15 seconds and stays off. Is this means the transfer case is in neutral ???
