RV Mod's was created by Bob Vaughn
I was just wondering if the people here do mod's to there RV's while they are on the road. Or do you just wait till you are at your home base?...I am always thinking of things to do to mine to make things better. My wife still works so we just travel on vacations. But in 15 months she will finally retire....Yea...

Seeing how we (and many others on the site) live in our motor home and don't have the hassles of a sticks and bricks house, yes - I make all kinds of modifications to our "wheel estate" while on the road. We just recently remodeled the entire living area.
You can find all of the mods I've done (and photos) on my personal website.

Modify our motorhome? You bet! The major changes had to wait, however, until we were at the Escapee's park in Benson where we had access to the woodworking tools. Other, more complicated changes such as the solar system we chickened out and let a professional installer (AM Solar) do for us. You'll also find more than a few guys just couldn't give up ALL their tools and you might be surprized what your neighbor can pull out of his basement storage!

Or what they have in that portable auto/wood shop they tow behind their motor home! I've seen a 40' motor home towing a 38' garage/work shop.
