Got a new 5th wheel. Looking for things that need work on.
Because of 21/2 drive to dealer , want to make it worth while.
? is it has a mol.510H (i think)Sealand toilet that is not holding water. Is there anything I might try before heading to the dealer to get it worked on.

Check out the model number on the toilet and go to eBay. You will save a ton of money. The first time I had my seals replaced it cost $175 to have it done. So I got the seals from eBay and did the job myself in about an hour or so. If you have the documentation on the toilet, it will show you how to replace the seals.
On a positive note, there may be just debris(polite word) that builds up between the seal and the stopper that opens to evacuate the toilet. You can use something small (popsicle stick, small brush, old tooth brush) to remove the stuff that is keeping the seal from sealing. Do not reuse the tooth brush if you use it on the toilet. It is a little unpleasant to do it but tolerable.
If that does not work, then get the seals. They will run you between $30-40 online. The toilet comes in two basic parts (the base and the top of the toilet). To replace the seals you will remove the top and then replace the seals and then put it back together. That is the simple answer. If you Google it online, you will find detailed instructions. I laid out plastic outside the bathroom door and put the parts in order on the plastic as I took the toilet apart. When I put it back together, I had not extra parts and the toilet worked.
I am not very handy with tools much of the time, but if I can do it almost anyone should be able to do it.
Good Luck!

The frst time I replaced the seals on mine, the instructions called for a "non petrolium based silicon" to lube the seals. I found that Camping world carried a can of it for about $5.00.
The first time I didn't get the seals (there are two of them) sitting just right and the toilet would not maintain a water seal. I re-did it a second time and it has been working perfect since (two years now).
Bottom line, Try taking the bowl off and cleaning and lubing the seals and set it back with everything in alignment. I believe you can get the instructions off the www, if not PM me and I will email you a copy.
