Does anyone use this model GPS? It is suppose to be designed for use with 18 wheelers and RVs. One of the functions you can input is the height of your unit and it is suppose to route you around low clearances. I have a 32ft class C but when you add the TOAD my total length is over 40 ft.

We use this model in our 40 ft. MH. You can program weight, length & height so that it will keep you off of any roads that are unsafe or restricted, based on your parameters. It's a nice feature and it gives us newer owners piece of mind. I'm not sure it was worth the extra money; however, it works well.

Yeah, it is a little pricey. You don't see it advertised in regular outlets like Best Buy. I happened to see it at a Loves truck stop awhile back. Thanks for your comments.

Don't know anything about it, but another brand of GPS with height limitations, propane, restrictions, etc. has been mentioned on the forums before.

I've been doing some internet research looking to replace a TomTom that repeatedly puts me on roads that are not RV (39' Bounder pulling a Chev Tracker) friendly. The Garmin 465T is offered for sale at Camping World and WalMart. WalMart has the best price. I'm holding out hoping AAFES will get it so I can save the sales tax!

The Megellan 1700 has truckers software available for it that considers all for tall vehicles. I too was interested about the same thing and contacted Megellan. Unfortantly my model is not capable of using the software. It's a Megellan 4350.
