Hitch selection

I asked this question in another forum and thought I'd repeat myself here, so here goes:
When I purchased our 27', 6500# GW travel trailer the dealer included an inexpensive "equalizing" hitch with friction sway control. I pull it with a 1500 Dodge Ram 5.7L Laramie. Needless to say, it doesn't work as well as I would like.
I want to replace the hitch. Question for those wiser and more experienced than I - is the extra $1500 worth the investment for a ProPride or Arrow hitch over the Reese Dual Cam?

I've been reading good things about a hitch from the Anderson Company. Check them out and see what you think. I may be in the market for a new hitch and I think I may give this one a serious look see. I tow a 30' Airstream with a Dodge Ram 3500 diesel.

Thanks all for your suggestions. We decided to go with a previously owned Hensley Arrow. Love it. Rig pulls straight as an arrow and there is no sway whatsoever.
