NM Road

Does anyone have any information on Highway 64 into Taos, NM from I-25? I'm considering traveling it in a motor home.

I know this is an old topic, but for folks still wondering: Yes, rt 64 is RV friendly. There are a few steep grades but most have a "slow" lane. There are also numerous pullouts all along Rt 64.

It's fantastic scenery, especially around Taos/Sipapu. The western part of Rt64 is also nice and not so mountainous. Gas stations are relatively common as are Nat'l Forest and other campgrounds.
