If you wouldn't mind me mapping out your route, just give me your starting point, amount of hours you like to drive a day, and your finishing point, and I'll lay out a route for you. There are several military camgrounds within reach of I-10, but a little route planning would be ideal.

We did the I-10 route last June and was able to stay in MCG for the most part. We did stay at Frog City RV Park both out and back and found it to be a good stop off point. Right on the interstate with all pull-through sites. Free wifi and good camp managers and hosts.

I am sorry that I missed you. We had T-day in Fayetteville just up the road. I am glad that you enjoyed Onslow. I think that it is an unappreciated "diamond in the rough."

"Snow" is why I left New England last month -- am now in Georgia -- 70+ degrees and don't need a TV -- we can actually go outside and not freeze !!
