always wanted to see their zoo. decided to go the last two weeks of March. Looking for suggestions on a decent park away from the interstate highways. Anyone know if they reopened the military rv parks

Didn't know they closed them.
You could drycamp at the Silver Strand Beach. They charge and it is just a parking lot. But you are right on the beach.

Once upon a time we lived there for three years, loved the place. Our kids were 8 & 10 and I can't remember having a free weekend all the time we lived there. Whenever we are in CA San Diego is always on our stop list. Super MWR there. There is always something to do.

Fiddler's Cove

I spoke with someone at the Coronado Marina Office last Friday. If you have never been there the Marina is adjacent to the RV park.

This individual stated, "The work on the renovations only got started right before Christmas." She had not heard any completion date at this time.
