We will be in Harrisburg, PA area for a few days. Does anyone have any recommendations on places to park for a couple nights? We plan to visit the state capitol and would like to play golf. Thanks.
I might be a bit late to the party, but the Harrisburg East Campground is very convenient to the capitol and a golf course is only a couple of miles away. The campground is off of I-283 between I-83 and the PA Turnpike.
Thanks for the info. We passed by on our way north but stopped very briefly to tour the capitol on our way south just a couple weeks ago. No golf - too cold. I'll make a note of the campground for the next time we are in the area.
