What is the best way to go about finding camp hosts positions at Famcamps? I have not seen many ads posted and the ones we have seen are old.

Thanks!

They show up here once in awhile but I suspect there is not a lot of turn over. Larry posted one three days ago for Fort Bragg needing a host with a start date in May.

There's a full answer in the FAQ's on the site. Basically, you need to be at the right place at the right time. A few locations will notify me. If I find out about a vacancy, I post it on this website and in my newsletter. Most military campgrounds don't advertise, as they can find camp hosts within a week just by putting a sign up at the campground.

Recently, Seabreeze in Seal Beach CA started looking for a host (We were there). They posted signs in the office and laundry and had a host within 2 days.
