Opportunities are available to fill Camp Host duties beginning late April 2016 through Sept. 30, 2016 at Jim Creek Community Recreation Area at Naval Radio Station Jim Creek in Arlington, WA. Compensation is a pre-paid 50 amp RV site with full hookup, as well as free laundry facility use. Jim Creek has tent sites, cabins, group campgrounds, RV sites, a rustic lodge, lake facilities, as well as acres of pristine wilderness. Hosts complete general administrative and maintenance duties in the RV, camping, and cabin areas while performing duties 3-4 days per week. After business hours, hosts check in guests, patrol the area, and assist with the sale of limited camping supplies. Hosts also assist during special events and programs held at Jim Creek and serve as a liaison between guests and MWR when staff are not present. Military retirees possessing DoD ID cards are preferred.
