Help: Running a laptop with Win 7 (64 bit). was created by lbaldwin47
When I go to 'install' the military campgrounds directory on my ASUS laptop running Windows 7 64 bit, I get a 32 / 64 bit version compatibly error. As far as I can tell I am running 64 bit windows.
Does anyone have a way around this?
Thanks,
Lee

The Directory software and installer is 32 bit. However, that shouldn't maker a difference. 32 bit programs can run fine on a 64 bit system.
Perhaps you can try right-clicking on the installation file. Select the PROPERTIES option, then select the COMPATIBILITY tab. You can try different options there. There's also a "Troubleshooter" there.

I tried the options suggested above - but no luck. still errors out on attempt to install.
I then tried to download again. downloaded a *.msi file - tried to install it by double clicking BUT still get error stating that 'installation package' could not be opened.
HELP?
Can I just query on line for this data and if so how?
I don't mind buying the package - but if it doesn't install for me - it does not do me much good.
thanks,
Lee

I think that I did not wait for the download to finish 'downloading'.
Was able to get the just downloaded version installed and registered.
At first glance really like this product but will be curious to see if I can export data out of it in any way and how.
Thanks again.

Great! Glad it's working now.
The only export available is to print the individual campground information pages. I already have enough websites and apps "stealing" the data we've worked hard to collect and keep current.
