I see the notice regarding an update. I am a regular member and I couldn't figure out how to update my software.

How to check for updates depends on what version of the U.S. Military Campgrounds Directory software you're currently using. But it's all basically the same:

• From within the Directory program, click on UPDATES or HELP from the main menu.
  
• Click on CHECK FOR UPDATES in the drop-down menu options.

If you still have problems, email me privately with the version you're currently running.

Got the CD just before departing for our East Coast trip in May 2008. It was really helpful, my first trip utilizing military bases. The only problem is my computer is OLD and it takes 18 minutes for the software to boot up. But it does work. I'm not in any hurry anyway. Thanks for all your hard work. I have recommended it several times during our trip. Maybe next trip will be mid-west if it dries out.

Glad you found the Directory software useful. I've been working on trying to speed it up some more. Thanks for the recommendations. The software, like this website, has come a long way since I first offered it.

Any chance of a MAC version of the software?

Although I know there's a small demand for a MAC version, there's not one planned for the near future. Perhaps someday I'll have a Java or HTML version that will run on PC and MAC.
