VA trying to change my 100% disability rating

Because of prostate cancer related to agent orange during my two tours of Vietnam, I was given a 100% disability rating in Feb. 2006. The VA now wants to decrease me to 20%. Of course, I'm fighting it. My question is, will I be able to stay at military campgrounds with less than 100% rating?
Anyone out there with info on this situation?

It is my understanding that the answer would be no. If you are not active, reserve or retired you must be 100% disabled. Anything less than 100% is not covered.

As a former DVOP (Disabled Veteran's Outreach Specialist) I would highly recommend that you contact the DAV (Disabled American Veterans) and let them fight the VA for you. The VA has the feeling that they are paying your disabled pay out of their own pocket. A lot of the VA personnel that handle disability claims are NOT EVEN VETS. Don't let them push you around. Good luck. Bob

I agree -- get the DAV involved if you have not already done it. They will fight your fight for you and are better quipped to take the battle to the VA --- and they will make sure the laws are adhered to for your benefits. Let us know how you make out ...
