Was wondering what is the age to be considered "Golden Age" and is it an across the board age, meaning every base has the same age for this discount at the Military RV parks?

You need to obtain a National Parks Service Senior/Golden Age Pass. Will run you $10 for life. You must be 62 years old to get it. Not all military CGs will give you a discount with this. (Mostly the Army CGs will.) But it doesn't hurt to ask...If you are a 40% DAV or more, you can obtain an access card which is free and for life...must present your VA paper work for it stating your % status.....but to use this card at Military CGs you must be retired military or 100% DAV with proper proof. Hope this helps...

My experience is that most military campgrounds do NOT give a discount for the Golden Age Pass. And like rvgrammy mentioned, the few times I've seen it were at Army campgrounds.

We just encountered our first "Golden Age" discount at a Military Park. Ft. Meade, MD (which is pricey) offers a 20% discount.
