Just read editors note,We are planning a trip to NASKW next new years, and I think I read that you get put in dry dock camping before you go into a full hook up, we are only staying a week. How long do you have to stay in dry dock camping?

We arrived December 15th and were in dry for 5 days. The second time it was 16 days before moving back to full h-up, and we are now looking at 4 weeks in dry since the Park is most crowded now. The dry camping is no big deal. They have liberal generator hours and the dry sites are often much more spacious than many of the hook-up sites. This is our first year and we are loving it...

Since NASKW is a hot spot and everyone there already is on a list for the FHU sites and if you plan to stay for only a week, well to me it's not worht the setup tear down and setup again for a week, I recommend getting a 2500 Watt small Gen for your Fridge and a Sani-tote for your waste and enjoy your week being self contained and use the shower houses as much as possible and I guarentee you you will enjoy your week better, oh yeah try to get near the tree line so you can run your Gen and the brush will muffle the exhaust sound more but not to close, you don't want a fire, but have fun and also we are planning to return this year as well.
