Has the water contamination at CL been resolved? There have been many allegations and disturbing reports for decades about poisons in the water and the devestating results. I believe it's a Superfund cite, which alone is enough to give one pause about staying there.
Numerous military installations have had serious issues with contaminated earth and water. It's no secret dangerous chemicals were stored and often improperly handled on many bases. Whether or not they've been properly "cleaned up" is the real question.
