Overflow sites

Seems to me that every MCG I've been to has an overflow for extras, or one night stays, or whatever when we arrive without a reservation.

Has anyone ever been to one that did not, or does not allow some space for late arrivals, or overflows when the CG is full??

I know some might not have hook-ups ... and that's fine too. I'm just wondering if anyone has been to one that actually says 'no' if they are full.

Both in the same day. We ended up at Camp Wal*Mart before making it to NCBC, Gulfport the next day. Bummer. We even called ahead at Shelby and were told "no problem". So we called to have our mail sent and they would do nothing to help us get it forwarded to Gulfport. Some of the most unfriendly people we have ever met at a military campground.

It was unfortunate since we were on the way to visit my dad in Florida who trained at Shelby during WWII (the big one) and we wanted to bring him a souvenir.
