AND... the rules change frequently, depending on how busy the campground is and the season. It's best to call the military campgrounds you're interested in directly to learn of their most recent rules on allowing sponsored guests.

Every base I go to someone with a military ID must ride with the guest in there RV. So my wife usually jumps in there RV to go through the gate and any place else they want to travel to on the base.
