Trailer Length restrictions

Does anyone know of any RV size restrictions on most of the military bases. I am looking for a new 5th wheel as I prepare to retire and wanted to know if the size of the Rv would be an issue.

I have a 43 ft Motorhome and have not had any issues yet. I also read most of the reviews on here and have only seen a couple that may be an issue i.e. Arnold AFB, Tn. I also tow a Ford F150 pickup and have never had a problem getting in any gates either, yes they can be tricky, but I just take my time and weave through. So, I don't think your length would be an issue at most places.

I agree with dpicard as we have a 45' class A and tow an Acadia and there are very few we have not been able to get into. When you call to make a reservation it is in your best interest to let them know the size of your RV and they will let you know if they can accomodate your size RV. One thing we do see with trailers and 5th wheels is sometimes the area you need to back into your site is limited as some of the roads are one way and not very wide so backing into your site can be tricky. the ENTRY gates are a challenge at times. I have accidentally moved a few cones with my trailer

what tickles me is the difference between the services that run the parks
IMO
the airforce is best and that pains me as a sailor to admit it
we are just a tad over 65 feet all hooked up
