Where's the reviews? was created by larryf
Hi all,

I noticed a sharp decline in the amount of campground reviews being submitted over the past 6 months.

This website is founded on the idea of users helping each other. When visiting a military campground, please take a few minutes and submit a review and some photos to the website. We ALL benefit from reading about each others experiences.

Thanks!

Larry,

Isn't the decline because of the season ? Here at Ocean Pines RV Campground there really hasn't been much movement of RV'ers. However, reservations have picked up, and this park has booked solid for the month of April.

Possibly, but there's been a decline for the past year.

It could be that there are fewer campers out there anymore. Back in the 90's honda goldwings were the bike of choice for mc travel, today you see very few and a lot of harleys! It could be interest is down somewhat and as a result the few that do travel have had their says and the new ones are not sure what to say?

Could be a little of both. I know I dont really use the mil campgrounds as theya re not located in any particular area I plan on going. Ft Tuthill is a good example. Its close to the grand canyon and some of the other parks so it gets used. Last time I was there however was about 5 years ago and it was not full then

Just wait a bit, things are cyclical and there will be new voices to be heard. But really unless directed to any particular site, reviews will be hard to find on any camping site. I know many retirees and they do not frequent here nor do they utilize the mil camps its just the way it is.
