Rainy Day Bloviating - It's all about me.

The afternoon rain is here, I have already done some of my fun things for today, so it’s time to get the keyboard in motion and do what I believe to be a “Work-in-Progress” adventure – being a nuisance. If you have read the RDB’s you will notice that I have set off on a fun oriented (self-serving) mission to draft articles that can be related back to MCG’s (I think the new buzz words are “connect the dots” instead of “related”). I never want to be considered a blogger or anything close to it. I do not have a co-author or a professional proof reading staff. What you see – is what you get. Expect a lot of poor grammar, misspelled words, misused words and probably a lot of confusion – it’s all free, it comes with the package at no extra cost. Now is the time to stop you in your tracks and get you to pay attention to some ground rules. Yes, I am arrogant, obnoxious, opinionated and all those other one-word adjectives that describes a person on the verge of being senile, for which I am not [subjective opinion]. I am a “legend in my own mind” and have become so well known, that society had no other choice but to pacify me by naming a street after me: One-Way. That street name is a perfect cue for me to tell you what to expect from the posting of the RDB articles – they are one-way. In that I mean, I will hopefully get the article posted on this website and that will be all you get from me – that kind of sounds “one-way”, doesn’t it? At last, we agree on something. I’m not a totally bad person - ask my dog. There is not enough time in the day for me to think about getting into one of those proverbial (fill in the blanks) contests. Although, I will cherish your feedback, good or bad, but (there’s that caveat “but”, when that word appears it usually mean everything I said up to this point should be ignored, I was trying to be nice – no, I’m not serious, think humor) no personal attacks, or kudo’s (sic), I am well past the point of needing to be stroked. And for the sentimental sensitive, I don’t need the tears. The only thing I am hoping to receive is to press your silly button a little by presenting some MCG related information as food-for-thought. I am not trying to clone my body (you wouldn’t want it anyway), thoughts (yes, of course, only the clean ones), habits (we don’t want to go there), or perceptions and conclusions. My goal is to provide you information, based on personal experience, that works for us and then let you decide where you take it from there – no other motives. My statements, facts, and opinions are presented with no guarantee that they are 100% correct, or for that fact, they may not be the right solution to a problem. I will say again, I cherish the feedback and will absorb it into my feeble brain and see what develops. Keep in mind, when you provide feedback (IMPORTANT: on the subject matter, not the nitpicking or surrounding trivial garbage) you are doing a very positive thing, you are “interacting” by sharing your information with other readers to evaluate and then put in to their RV’ing Information Brain Housing Group. That folks, is what this website [militarycampgrounds.us] is all about. Your feedback is also good for me. It [feedback] is like battle-sights, and if you don’t know what that means, an instrument gauge to me. It will tell me if I am hitting the target or should I shut it down or throttle it back.
