Enjoyed your new article on Camp Perry. As it looks like many things have changed since the last time I stayed there maybe 7 or 8 years ago. Beside remembering the 1000 yard range there, and the little bunk bed as their top of the line sleeping rooms way back when...lol And wondering if the POW cabins during WW2 and the ''train Car,'' a gift from France are still there to view?

Don't know about the WWII POW cabins, but not far away is a Civil War POW camp.

We only stayed a couple nights and the entire base was a ghost town. We didn't explore the base, other than make a drive through it.
