2 years ago while traveling out West, I called ahead that morning to check for openings. They informed me they had 2. Early that evening when I arrived they informed me that they were full. I had to call around and drove for another hour and half to find an open campground. Why won't military campgrounds accept reservations. It's terrible the way they treat us vets. I spent a year in Vietnam and a year in the United Arab Emirates, and this is the way they show their appreciation This summer I plan to do more traveling. There's no sense even thinking of a military campground
