Campgrpound Closures - Corona Virus

Wateree Recreation Area, Sumter SC, is open, or will be. I called them today to make reservations beginning July 2-6 and they said they were fully booked.

Cliffside (Whidbey Island, WA) still closed to anyone other than active duty. As of 6/25/20, the Base CO is considering a mid July re-opening date for anyone else to stay at the fam camp.

Malstrom AFB in Montana - Gateway and the Annex campground have opened for all active duty and Montana resident retirees that can show a Montana Drivers License.

AS of July 3, I call Patrick AFB, and they stated that the Campground is now open ( Manatee Campground), I also called MacDill AFB but was unable to get in touch with anyone.

Hanscom Famcamp in Bedford, MA is now open. At this time, the restrooms are not open, as well as the laundry.
They have increased the cost of the sites by $2.00.

Larry, to update on the status of F.E. Warren Crow Creek FAMCAMP: As of 08 July 2020 the Base Commander has directed no new reservations. Access to the base campground is limited to those with a reservation and the sentries at Gate 2 will not allow campers unless they are on the access list. Base facilities (commissary, BX, Class Six, etc) is also limited to retirees. Check the base website for details on access days/hours. Reason for the rollback; Seven airman on Warren AFB contracted COVID and base is trying to reduce exposure to active duty personnel. These restrictions are in effect until further notice. Call before you come.
