Hi!

Just found this site from Google, I was searching for military campgrounds and looks like I found them! Very good location directory.

My hubby is retired USN, I am also a vet but not a retiree. We were both DoD employees and retired from that too at the beginning of the year. We plan on doing a good bit of traveling using military campgrounds when available. Our home base is Nevada, we travel in a Jeep Unlimited pulling a Que camping trailer.

As you can tell from the reviews, there's good and bad military campgrounds. Not all are cheap, but many are affordable, clean, and a great benefit we have.

I am interested in being a camp host, is there a site that lists available locations, benefits ets. I am just starting. Just about to retire. JIM DANIELS

I'm also a District Manager for a concessionaire that manages USFS campgrounds. I'll be accepting applications and begin hiring camp hosts for the 2012 season in November. I'll be managing the USFS campgrounds in the Inyo National Forest (CA) next year (Tahoe National Forest this year). This is a beautiful area around Mammoth Lakes, June Lake and more.
