Just wanted to bring this topic back to the top so some of the "Newbie's" would read it.

Having been in the Army and the Air Force, worked on a JTF for 13 years and using a Navy base as a central point of support (medical, dental, MWR, BX, etc.) for those same 13 years, there still isn't a "whole lotta love" at the lower levels between the services. I'd be prepared to be laughed out of someone's office (at a minimum) for bringing in a reg. from another service. There are usually "parallel" Regs, OPNAVS, AFI's and whatever else is out there concerning SOP's for the operation of an office/dept/shop/etc., so you'd be smart to do a little homework and find the correct information before you start trying to tell someone how to run their own shop....and you may want to prepare yourself (again) to be laughed out of someone's office (at a minimum) (again) for trying to tell someone how to run their shop even with the correct AR/AFI/OPNAV....be gentle.....

As a USMC brat, USN retired, been stationed on a USAF base, AUS provides my retiree support.. Martin64 makes a good point..
Navy shouldn't laugh until you are gone. Gone with the feeling that they appreciate you bringing the Army reg to their attention.
