Fulltiming is a GREAT lifestyle and having the use of military campgrounds makes it even better. Not just the economics (military campgrounds aren't always the least expensive), but also the comraderie of fellow GI's and the use of base facilities.

Looking forward to reading your reviews. DOn't forget to send in any updates or corrections to the campground infomration listed here. Users helping users here assures we have the most current and complete informatin available.

Welcome, Ron....This is THE BEST place to get your info for Full-timing....lots of help on campgrounds and RVing issues, too....We've been full-timing for 4 years and love it....Hope to see ya' on the road...

Hello all: We, too, are new to this site. We've been RVing off and on since we were stationed in Little Rock, AR in the early 70's. We ran into financial difficulties in the mid '80s and got out of the RV lifestyle. We got back into the life in 2006 with the purchase of a popup. Traded it in for a Class C and after spending a week in Destin, FL at the Ft Benning rec area, we decided we needed something a little larger. So, we got a 33' class A with 1 slide. Still too small. We now have an 05 Cruise Master with 3 slides and a lot of bells and whistles and it's 37'. Retired from the US Army in 1980 after 20+ years. We are excited about this web site as it will be a big help when we travel. Happy trails to all.
