Hello all: We, too, are new to this site. We've been RVing off and on since we were stationed in Little Rock, AR in the early 70's. We ran into financial difficulties in the mid '80s and got out of the RV lifestyle. We got back into the life in 2006 with the purchase of a popup. Traded it in for a Class C and after spending a week in Destin, FL at the Ft Benning rec area, we decided we needed something a little larger. So, we got a 33' class A with 1 slide. Still too small. We now have an 05 Cruise Master with 3 slides and a lot of bells and whistles and it's 37'. Retired from the US Army in 1980 after 20+ years. We are excited about this web site as it will be a big help when we travel. Happy trails to all.

Welcome Larry!
Your "upgrade" story sounds very familiar. It may have taken us 15 years, but we also went from tent to pop-up to 15' trailer, to Class C, back to pop-up then finally to 36' Class A double slide. We're now pretty happy with our setup. Any larger and we'd have problems getting into many locations, especially the National Forest.

I'm kind of new on the board myself and I don't post that often, but this is a great spot to get the latest scoop on what's happening with Military CG's.

My wife and I and our two little dogs winter in South Texas. Have been for the past 8 years. We stay in the Harlingen area. If any one else here goes there, let me know know.
