Potential Campground at Ft Indiantown Gap, PA

Had a chat today with a member of the PA chapter of S*M*A*R*T in which he related that his chapter is in discussions with officials at Ft. Indiantown Gap, PA (near Harrisburg) to convert an abandoned trailer park into RV parking. Apparently things are not going well but discussions are continuing.

The effort now is to get them to understand that an RV park, rather than being a drain on resources, can, if done correctly, be an income producer for MWR.

So the hope is there. Will let you know if anything comes of it.

Further to my last post if anyone is interested in MWR funding, operations ect ect ect I recommend do a search by typing in US Army Regulations and follow the thread to AR 215-1. This the Army's implementation to the DOD Instructions on MWR.
