Do Coast Guard Stations have Commissaries? was created by LK23
We are camped near the Astoria Oregon Coast Guard Station. Do Coast Guard Stations have Commissaries and can we access with military IDs?

While I've only visited a few Coast Guard stations, I wouldn't say they have a "Commissary". Rather, the ones I've visited had shopettes with limited groceries. Yes, any valid military ID card granst you access to all normal facilities at a Coast Guard station.

We have ANG station and Coast Guard here on the Cape -- has a large BX type grocery and 'retail' store, and gas station -- not much savings, but convenient when you need it. AD and Retired ID all you need.

the only ones that I know of that have a "commissary" are Air Station Cape Cod and Support Center Kodiak. Visit
www.uscg.mil
and go to the units tab and explore where you are. Most of our large units either have a CG Exchange or CG Exchange satellite store.
