Where are you planning to stay?
North or South?
Northern VA will for sure be a cold winter, but. . . . .
Southern VA should be pretty much OK.
We live 2 miles north of the NC line off I-95 and the winters usually warm up to about 50. We usually get a couple of snow days each winter with the white stuff gone in a day. The coast is about the same.
We have been Full Timers now for going on 4 to 5 years and always head south for the winter. GA and SC are fine. PM me you want some local info.

Not sure ... what I'm looking for is an area that is as far north as possible, and still not freeze me out because I will be travelling to Cape Cod several times during the winter. So, want warm weather so I don't have to rig for cold, but will still be able to 'CAMP-OUT' for the winter.
What it sounds like so far is very south Virginia or North Carolina. I could rig myself for cold weather, but really don't want that kind of winter ... and I can actually make 600 miles in a day if I absolutely have to do it. So, will probably go NC instead of Va ... I've been generally mid-wintering in Florida and Georgia the past five or six winters. But don't want to be that far south due to family concerns this year.

Curt -- will do it, for sure --
You'all will recognize me easy -- I got the smallest rig of all you guys, probably. Nine foot truck camper on my GMC 4x4 ... gets me anywhere I want to go with room to spare.
