Ironwood CG at Yuma Proving Ground

The Ironwood camping area at YPG is probably the "contractor campground" we were directed to by the FamCamp manager a couple of years ago. I'm pretty sure it is located at the end of Cutter Circle on the backside of the housing area at YPG. We went over and looked at it once. Pretty grim. Pretty small. NO amenities of any kind. It had several obviously long-term residents when we went to check it out. We stayed in dry camp. Not sure you want to include this as a camping option.

I'm here at YPG right now and will check it out in the morning with the mgr. when she returns from Thanksgiving. I'll let you know.

Thanks all for the updates. I've also received emails that Ironwood CD was a "contractor" campground and not used/open by the public. However, any verification would be appreciated.
