Man I got allot to learn about these Rvs, this site is very helpful. The members are willing to help with just about anything, Each and every day it seems that I have learned something new. Not just about rvs either, just yesterday I found out that we still can get free glasses, I called my brother [retired Air Force] and told him about it, he didn't know either. So now you all just saved my brother and I a few 100. each. I'm listening! Thanks folks

Im always learning something new. We are never too old to learn either. And I drive with my propane on and only turn it off while refueling.

All you have to do is one of two things. You are authorized to get a free eye exam every two years if you are on tri-care. If you are beyond that then get your eye exam done and take your RX to the military eye clinic and they will order you a pair of military glasses and mail them to you. There is also a site for ordering the glasses from the Navy but I think it is a hassle. www.navy.mil/
That is all there is to it. If you are in the Yuma area take it to the MCAS in Yuma. You can also get an eye exam there at no cost, I was told.

You can also get some benefits from the VA. It's not just for disabled. As long as you are a VET. No lines not much waiting.
I think there is a booklet avaiable from the VA that spells out all the benefits .

Also ,if you have any type of injury or desease that happened in the service of your country, you may qualify for compensation from the VA .

I also travel with the propane on for the refer. I'm not sure if it runs on DC while driving or propane. I know it's gas operated , just assumed gas on all the time.
