Davis-Monthan AFB - Does it have commissary?

Hey, anyone know if Davis-Monthan AFB has a commissary, a real commissary for stocking up, I don't mean the AAFES type stores ...

If not, who knows the closest commissary to Tucson heading east toward I-10 into NM and Texas ... thanks ...

Yes, DM has a normal full stocked commissary operated by DECA.

Yes in deed it has a nice commissary.

You know they (Yuma PG and MCAS Yuma) have commissary's,,Granted not the biggest but it pretty much had the stuff you need to stock up on.. I know your probably thinking that the mini mart that AFES has is it. The YPG is towards the back of the base and MCAS is right in the middle. DM is very nice but if your gonna go just to use the commissary you might want to just hit Wally World.. PS the commissary at YPG and MCAS are both closed on Mondays.

Am at Desert Breeze right now, leaving early AM for the east on I-10 toward Florida ... so DM is right on the way and 3-4 hours drive - and if I see it right, pretty close to I-10 --

just had some warrantee work done on my rig, so it's pretty empty of supplies ... didn't want 'stuff' in it while it was waiting at factory.

Wally-World is okay, but I try to avoid that when I can use commissary instead. Would rather support base activities when I can. And like to fuel-up etc all at once -- plus, just feel more comfortable on base than at WW, generally ... and I drive a PU with TC, so no problem with enter and exit base ...
