Midway Famcamp, TN was created by fredo
The weather channel reported that Millington Naval Station had 4-5 feet of water in the housing area. Has anyone heard if the famcamp has been affected.

Just curious as this facility has a nice write-up on this site.

I would also like to know, plan on driving through Memphis (it will always be NAS Memphis to me) in July..

I was at NAS Memphis.. about four blocks from the CG during Hurricane Camile (1969).. we had two feet of water in the streets then..

The CG is next to (used to be part of) old housing.. the entire place is flat so if there was water one place, it was everyplace..

Sandman, thanks for the replies. My wife is originally from Newport, AR (about 90 miles West of Memphis), and we had thought about going to the Memphis area on our next trip to visit her family. Again, thanks.
